In Deary, the students started with an introduction to a Wildlife project. In a short time, students learned how to identify animal tracks, bird calls and animal skulls. Additionally, they learned about the scientific names of animals and created their own game about what they learned. This project will be completed with the building of bird houses.
Starting in January, the program director started using stations to deliver her various programs. This helps everyone involved and makes it the 4-H program easier to deliver. This makes it easier to find out the needs of the children and to work with them one-on-one.
As an added bonus, 3 students have already signed up to be part of 4-H After School! This is big step in the program
